SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced this week's men's indoor track & field athletes-of-the-week for events held February 6-12, 2023. Dylan Kucera of Midland University was selected for the honor for the fourth time this season.

Kucera, a senior from Fremont, Nebraska, won both throwing events at the Concordia Indoor Invite last week. He had the top toss in the shot put at 18.27m, a full meter better than the rest of the field. In the weight throw, he had a distance of 20.23m, which is the furthest throw in the NAIA this season. He ranks first in both events nationally heading into the GPAC Championships.
