KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced its men's indoor track and field athletes of the week for competitions from February 6-12, 2023. Midland University's Dylan Kucera has been named the NAIA Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the third time this season and the second week in a row. He was chosen out of a pool of nominees from across the country.

Kucera, a senior from Fremont, Nebraska, won both throwing events at the Concordia Indoor Invitational last weekend. He won the shot put with a throw of 18.27m and the weight throw with a 20.23m. His distance in the weight throw moved him to the top of the season leaderboard in the event and he now ranks first in both events nationally heading into the conference championships.
